Thomas Franchise Solutions (TFS), a leading growth capital private equity firm that focuses on investing in franchisors in the consumer service space, is very excited to announce the hiring of Jakob Hunt as a Senior Consultant for Franchisor Operations.
Jakob comes from over 20 years of management experience for companies such as H&M, American Eagle Outfitters and Hot Topic. He attributes his knowledge on building company culture and branding to his time managing Disney Stores and later at Walt Disney World. In 2009 Jakob joined Dogtopia, a pet services franchise company, and was promoted to Vice President of Operations within two years. During his more than five years with Dogtopia, Jakob immersed himself in franchising, completing Georgetown University’s Franchise Management certification as well as achieving the designation of Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) from the International Franchise Association.
Jakob is very excited to be able to utilize the experiences gained working with both franchisees and franchisors to assist TFS in growing their portfolio companies across the U.S. and Canada. He believes that “advising and working with franchisors as well as franchisees is a different challenge then leading people who work for you but assisting them to be profitable businesses can be so very rewarding.”
